Roger Tite @ Kangaroo Valley Arts Festival Sculpture Exhibition
May 3 @ 10:00 am - May 5 @ 4:00 pm
We are pretty excited that two of Roger’s sculptures have been selected for inclusion in the Kangaroo Valley ‘Arts in the Valley’ Sculpture Exhibition.
Held in the beautiful private home Cedar Grove, the exhibition includes both outdoor and indoor displays of work from Australian artists – many local to the area.
The Last Drop
Depicts the skeletal remains of a tap sitting atop an exaggerated water drop as a harsh reminder of how dependent we are on water, especially those living on the land…right down to the last drop.
Made entirely from farm machinery and farm scrap, this bull ant was inspired by Roger’s childhood growing up in bushland being cautious of ‘bitties’ and critters – a warning he now passes down to his own children.
Entry to sculpture exhibition only is $8 (under 12 free). There are many other events happening in the Valley as part of the festival so check out the Arts in the Valley website.
All sculptures will be available for sale but please note there will not be an Ironworx Australia stall at this event.
